Zaragossa is een zoon van Jumbo-Jet (Concorde) uit de succesvolle Bella-stam (NL-merrielijn 050). Grootmoeder Golinda Bella (Bentley) sprong zelf in de klasse Z en is een rechtstreekse dochter van de beroemde prestatie merrie Sophia Bella (Pantheon xx). Sophia Bella is niemand minder dan de moeder van het Olympische springpaard Play it Again (Ian Millar), het internationale springpaard Hallo Hallo (Henk van de Pol) en het internationale militarypaard Heerle's Triple (Master). Ook de springhengsten Montreux (Hinault) en Patrick (Holland) gaan in directe lijn terug op Sophia Bella.
