Jägermeister is gefokt uit de merrie Awanda, die met 76 punten slaagde voor de merrietest en een halfzus is van het internationale springpaard Nicky (v.Hemmingway). Daarnaast leverde grootmoeder Jiwanda ook meerdere Z1/Z2-dressuurpaarden. Zelf is Jiwanda een halfzus van het ZZ-Licht dressuurpaard Kashmir (v.Farmer) en het 1.40m-springpaard Leandro (v.Hemmingway). Uit fokfamilie 539 komt ook het Lichte Tour-dressuurpaard Zita Sollenburg (v.Lord Sinclair). Vader Apache was al zeer succesvol in de Lichte Tour en is in zowel het binnen- als buitenland geliefd als vererver dankzij veelbelovende nakomelingen als Eloise U, Flanell, Electra en Finoeska. Moedersvader Solitair leverde naast internationale springpaarden ook Lichte Tour-dressuurpaarden als Zaniet en Zamara Sue.

Jägermeister is bred out of the dam Awanda, who passed with 76 points for the mare test and is a half sister to the international showjumper Nicky (s.Hemmingway). In addition granddam Jiwanda also produced multiple third level dressage horses. Jiwanda is a half sister to the fourth level dressage horse Kashmir (s.Farmer) and the 1.40m jumper Leandro (s.Hemmingway). From breeding family 539 also originates the Small Tour dressage horse Zita Sollenburg (s.Lord Sinclair). Sire Apache was very successful in the Small Tour and is a very popular sire thanks to promising descendants as Eloise U, Finoeska, Electra, and Flanell. Dams sire Solitair produced next to international showjumpers, also the Small Tour dressage horses as Zaniet and Zamara Sue
