Onder Mathijs van Asten presteerde moeder Tess in de internationale sport. Op driejarige leeftijd slaagde ze al met topcijfers voor de springonderdelen in de IBOP. Haar volle broer Aragorn springt in de internationale Youngster Tour onder Erika Lickhammer. Vader Nonstop behoort sinds 2008 tot het selecte gezelschap van BWP ambassadeurs dankzij zijn internationale prestaties in de sport en ook in de fokkerij heeft hij zijn sporen nagelaten dankzij een tiental Grand Prix-cracks als Abbervail van het Dingeshof, Amai en Ulysse. Ook moedersvader No Limit heeft zich bewezen als internationale sport- en fokhengst. Grootmoeder Number One uit prestatiefamilie 227 is een halfzus van de nationaal springende Kim (v.Ditmar).

Her full brother Aragorn jumps in the international Youngster Tour with Erika Lickhammer.
