Vader Zambuka stamt af van de Grand Prix-dressuurhengst Scandic. De Russische Trakhener Biotop was in de Grand Prix succesvol onder Dr. Reiner Klimke. Zambuka werd op vierjarige leeftijd reservekampioen in de Pavo Cup en was een jaar later WK-finalist. Ook aan moederskant krijgt Giovan een flinke dosis dressuurgenen mee. Elitemerrie Lucky Lass (v. Elcaro) heeft zelf Z1-dressuur gelopen en is een halfzus van het Grand Prix-dressuurpaard Joy van Patricia Callaghan en de Z1-
dressuurpaarden Kalibor (v. Wolfgang) en Havance (v. Ulft). Pynto, de oudste zoon van Lucky Lass, heeft Z1-dressuur gelopen. Velibor (v. Doruto) komt ook voor in de pedigree van de KWPN-hengst Bon Bravour (v. Painted Black) en is grootmoeder van de Z2-dressuurpaarden Newman (v. Variant) en Kratos (v. Pretendent). Deze prestatiefamilie 1846 heeft al talrijke nationale spring- en dressuurpaarden geleverd.

Sire Zambuka descends of the Grand Prix-dressage stallion Scandic. The Russian Trakehner Biotop was in the Grand Prix successful under Dr. Reiner Klimke. Zambuka became at four-year age reserve champion in the Pavo Cup and was a year later WC-finalist. Also on dam?s side Giovan got a considerable amount of dressage genes. Elite-awarded mare Lucky Lass (Elcaro) was a Z1-dressage horse and she is a half-sister of the Grand Prix-dressage horse Joy under Patricia Callaghan and the Z1-dressage horses Kalibor (Wolfgang) and Havance (Ulft). Pynto, first son of Lucky Lass, was a Z1 dressage horse. We find also the name of Velibor, daughter of dressage sire Doruto, in the pedigree of KWPN-stallion Bon Bravour (Painted Black). Also she is granddam of the Z2 dressage horses Newman (Variant) and Kratos (Pretendent). This performance family 1846 supplied already many national jumping and dressage horses.
