Grootmoeder Wendy viel op de stamboekkeuring op met 90 punten voor de stap, draf en houding. Wendy is een halfzus van het ZZ-Licht dressuurpaard Cacharel (v.San Liberty). Overgrootmoeder Nanny komt uit dezelfde moeder als het Lichte Tour-dressuurpaard Zeb (v.Jazz) en uit deze directe lijn van prestatiefamilie 1872 komen ook de ZZ-Zwaar dressuurpaarden Patty (v.Kimberley), Aswin (v.Sandreo) en Vital (v.Gribaldi). Voor het vaderschap van Ilco tekende het bewegingswonder Bordeaux, die afgelopen jaar de hengstencompetitie won en veel indruk maakt met zijn nafok.
