Mercedes is gefokt uit Awanda, die met 76 punten slaagde voor de merrietest en van Sandreo al een Z1-dressuurpaard leverde. Een volle broer van Mercedes kwam tot de tweede bezichtiging. Grootmoeder Jiwanda bracht naast het internationale springpaard Nicky (v.Hemmingway) ook meerdere Z1/Z2-paarden. Zelf is Jiwanda een halfzus van het ZZ-Licht paard Kashmir (v.Farmer). Uit prestatiefamilie 539 komen tevens Lichte Tour-paarden als Arie Sollenburg (v.Olivi) en Zita Sollenburg (v.Lord Sinclair). Vader Apache gooit hoge ogen in de internationale Grand Prix en drukt een stempel dankzij nazaten als Intro K, Grand Galaxy Win, Indian Rock en Ferrari STH. Moedersvader Solitair leverde naast internationale springpaarden ook Lichte Tour-dressuurpaarden als Zaniet en Zamara Sue.

Mercedes is bred out of Awanda, successful in the mare-test with 76 pts. and already she supplied a Z1-dressage horse from Sandreo. A full brother of Mercedes reached the second viewing round of the Stallion show. Granddam Jiwanda supplied the international jumping horse Nicky (s. Hemmingway) and several Z1/Z2 horses. Jiwanda is a half-sister of the ZZ-L horse Kashmir (s. Farmer). From this top-family 539 also descend the Lichte Tour horses as Arie Sollenburg (s. Olivi) and Zita Sollenburg (s. Lord Sinclair). Sire Apache, ridden by Emmelie Scholtens, is top at international Grand Prix dressage level and also he is top in breeding because of his offspring like Intro K, Grand Galaxy Win, champion-stallion Indian Rock and Ferrari STH. Dam’s sire Solitair also supplied international jumping horses and Lichte Tour dressage horses like Zaniet and Zamara Sue.
